We open from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm. Our morning session runs from 7:30 am until 1:00 pm and our afternoon session runs from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm

We are closed on the 25th and 26th December and the 1st and 2nd January. If these days fall on a weekend, we are closed on the next working day.

We take children from 3 months old up until 5 years old or when the child leaves to go to school.

You can enquire through our website or by email or telephone the nursery. We are doing show rounds at 6pm when most of the staff and all the children have gone home. If you want to book a space, we will ask you to fill out an application form and to secure that space we would ask for a deposit of £100. This deposit becomes refundable when your child leaves nursery and will be paid back to your bank account after your final invoice has been paid.

You can pay for your childcare in many ways including cash, BACS, Childcare vouchers, standing order, Tax free voucher. We invoice you prior to the month so invoices go out towards the end of the month ready for the following month to be paid by the first of each month. Fees are calculated over 52-week period, so you pay the same every month, for example. Your child attends 3 full days per week. Your fees are calculated by (3 sessions per week multiplied by 52 and then divided by 12. This gives you a fixed amount to pay every month. If you prefer it to be calculated by session, meaning you will pay a varied amount every month then just let us know and we can change it.

Our fees are reviewed annually in December through a structured process to look at the costs of running the nursery. If we feel that the operating costs have risen, we may increase your childcare fees. You will receive a minimum of a month’s notice prior to any fee increase.

A key person is a member of staff within your child’s room who your child best associates with. This member of staff will be chosen by your child; the key person will write observations and monitor your child’s development. The key person will change throughout the child’s transition through nursery this is to ensure the key person is always within the room to best settle the child within each area.

We would really appreciate it if you could let us know about your holiday dates or if your child is going to miss the session for whatever reason. This keeps us informed about your child and helps us organize our staff.

Yes, no problem you may collect your child whenever you wish, however if it is significantly earlier than normal, we ask you to let us know just so we can make sure your child is ready on time.

Accidents do happen at nursery but of course we try our best to prevent them. If your child has an accident, we will let you know upon collection or beforehand depending on the severity of the accident. We will fill in an accident form to outline the incident (causes, treatments, outcomes etc). We will provide any first aid needed (majority of staff members are first aid trained). We fill out paperwork to log all accidents this in turn helps us avoid accidents in the future.

Nursery should be informed of any allergies so contingency plans can be made to keep these allergens away from the child. We strive to ensure that every child is safe while at nursery so we will prepare separate snacks and meals keeping in with the child’s diet.

We play outside at least once every day throughout all ages of the nursery. Our nursery is accessible for all the older children to choose if they want to spend longer on activities outside. We use the outside area for many different activities including team games, role play, sand pit, physical challenges, free play, water play. Outside is an extension to our provision and still offers lots of learning experiences.

If leaving due to unhappiness within the setting we urge you to talk to us about any issues as we strive to solve most issues swiftly. However, we understand that changes sometimes must be made when wishing to leave we ask for one months’ notice.
